A short bio

Julia Kowalczuk is a Master’s Data Science student at the University of Amsterdam. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems at the Warsaw School of Economics, and her engineering degree in Robotics and Automatic Control at the Warsaw University of Technology. Early on, she developed an interest in medical sciences, leading to her conducting research at WUT, and - later - working in the medical technology field. She will write her thesis on 3D Surrogate Modelling of Burn Wound Immune Response Using DeepONets under the guidance of a PhD candidate Roland V. Bumbuc.
